Fundraising is necessary for every home as materials are purchased for the build. Volunteer labor and donations keeps the total cost of each home reasonable for the new owner to keep the mortgage affordable.

Each home owner pays a monthly mortgage to the Unicoi County Habitat for Humanity at zero interest. Everyone should be able to have safe, affordable housing. This is a hand up for a family that may not be able to purchase a home any other way. Any contribution will be used to purchase materials for homes. There is no paid staff, just volunteers.
